Just getting off a job, a little ragged. Haven't even been there yet, but when I saw the anti-smoking review, I knew this was the place for me. I know these dives don't judge, I'm definitely not dressed for snobs... I'm hungry and I could use a few beers, for better or worse, I do smoke, so... I'll let you know how it goes...so, no kitchen, but you can get food next door and bring it over. Cool place if you just want to hang and drink and smoke and shoot pool
My response to Doug Astrakhan Hey Doug, you left out the part where you thought it was OK to touch some random girl many years your junior in an inappropriate fashion. When I tried to address this with you, you got all flustered and told me to do my job, and when I asked you to leave you, you refused, which led to me pushing you out the door and you breaking a table. Quaint place to have a drink. The bartenders were very fast and the regulars were friendly. We didn’t order and food only drinks .
Excellent out of the way five star dive bar. Love it! Update! Today I was harassed by some dude on the customer side of the bar before I even sat down. He asked for ID and I asked why. I'm 43. He said because it says on the door you must have ID to enter. The guy didn't appear to be an employee so I asked for his. Seemed sketchy without a uniform as it could've been anyone trying to get me to take my wallet out and for that rude behavior, service goes from 5stars to one. I'm visiting my kids from Florida and I've visited quite a few times in the last three weeks, never seen him before, and he didn't serve me nor set foot behind the bar. I would recommend y'all get ID badges and security shirts or uniforms. Wasn't the friendly greeting I've had before. Place is still great, just the rude guy with the dreadlocks that has no identification as an employee.
Nice little bar!!!! Was there at 11am bartender is very nice an the people that were there were really nice an welcomed me an made me feel at home!!!! I will return again soon! They have a pool table Pa skill machines. The only negative thing I have to say is the parking is limited ai less than a dozen cars. Don't let that stop you from visiting them. I didn't have anything too eat so even though I gave it 5 star I actually don't know if they served food. They have chips that's all I seen.
Deb Brown is the biggest supporter of live local music in the Palmyra area. Friendly regulars Kevin the bartender and staff great people. Lot of venue on his could take a lesson on supporting local music from Deb.
